The Weather Changing Essentials

♪ When the weather outside is frightful, our skin is still delightful...(...Thanks to these amaze-balls products. Did we really just say amaze-balls? How 2013 of us. Don't worry, we're judging ourselves too right now.)

Autumn

There are lots of things to be excited about now that Autumn is officially here; walking in crispy leaves, pumpkin everything, cosy jumpers etc etc but dry skin is in no shape or form included in this list. (Especially now that cold and flu symptoms are starting to spread around quite quickly. It's October, not December; there's been no forecasts for snow yet dammit - this should not be happening :(.) Moisturising is key for us at the moment, so we've selected our top weather changing essentials now that central heating season is in full swing to help heal that flaking skin (so gross - sorry).

SHEA BLISS HAND TREATMENT, £7.99Shea Bliss noun & play on words adjective A warm vanilla scented hand cream which instantly gives your hands and sense of smell sheer, blissful happiness. It honestly smells so good we struggle not to give it a little lick each time we apply. To be fair though, it sinks so quickly in to the skin we don't really get the chance to! ROSY CHEEKS FACE SCRUB, £7.99Exfoliation is an absolute essential come this time of the year. We've only just entered October and our noses are already looking a little rudolph-esque with a side of flaky skin. Beautiful. Containing pure Jasmine and Ylang Ylang essential oils, this gentle face scrub is lotion based; making it the perfect blend for even the most sensitive and dry of skin types. LIMELIGHT BODY POLISH, £7.99Voted as Number One Newbie from us bunch at Bomb HQ, we also deem it as our Number One essential to give us a reason to get out of bed in those cold, dark mornings. Urgh. Limelight has an unforgettable zesty fragrance which completely awakens our body and mind. The fact that it gently but effectively buffs away those yucky dry dead skin cells to give us that much needed glow is just an extra added bonus in our eyes. SHERBET LEMON LIP SCRUB, £2.49 Take us to the candy shop, dada-dada. Our love affair with exfoliating products that don't strip the skin and actually leave it feeling moisturised lives on! Chapped lips are one of the biggest beauty banes of our lives. How are we supposed to truly show the world we recognise it's now Autumn when we can't wear our new burgundy lipstick without it sinking in to every crack and line we've got going on #cry. Thankfully, we have our little pot of lemon lip love on hand to smooth and soften your pout - it won't make you look quite as sassy as the likes of lip-goddess Tanya Burr does but you'll come close! AUTUMN FRUIT FAIRY, £7.99The perfect scent if you're not fully committed to the introduction of Autumn. Any one who's any one knows that candles are like a must have for this time of year; they just provide the most cosy atmosphere in any room. Scented with lively top notes of ripe Plums and Cassis which meander towards a heart of Aniseed, warm Ginger, Cinnamon and exotic Jasmine. Um, basically if seasons could have a scent, this candle would be the scent of Autumn. INDULGENT BODY BUTTER, £7.99When we say indulgent, we actually mean it. Honestly, this body butter is so rich and moisturising. In fact, we could rave about this one from dusk till dawn, but instead, we're going to give you a little copy and paste action and share what Frances thought;
"This body butter is superb. Why. I have extremely sensitive skin. This product is just perfect, no itching or scratching. The smell is not overpowering. I've used it for 2 days and my arms and legs feel lovely and moisturised."
