Super Simple Acts of Kindness You Can Do For Yourself & For Others

  1. Throw KindnessEat your minimum 5 portions of fruit & veg and drink at least the recommended 2 litres of water. Your body and skin will 100% thank you for this one.
  2. Have a decluttering session a la Marie Kondo and donate your unwanted belongings to charity. Less mess = a clearer mind and helping a worthy course at the same time!
  3. Smile and say 'hello' to someone you wouldn't usually talk to. Never, ever underestimate the power of a single word, and a warm smile that can lift anyones spirits. What A Melon
  4. Buy your pal something that's been lingering on their Wishlist since forever. A labrador and an unlimited supply of What A Melon Soap for us please.
  5. Daily gratitude. Write down at least 3 things every day that you are grateful for, and you'll soon realise you are one of the most blessed stars in the sky!
  6. Take time out and have a pamper when you feel like things are getting on top of you. Sometimes we feel like a broken record, but taking time out to look after yourself is such an important daily habit everyone needs to pay more attention to. Remember it's ok not to be ok, and if you need to take some time out for a little bit of 'me time' that is more than ok. Look after yourself, babes. Ok?
  7. Compliment, compliment, compliment! Be the reason someone smiles today :-).
  8. Pay it forward. Such a simple act we're not sure why more people aren't doing this! Next time you're in your favourite coffee house or somewhere similar simply put some extra money on to your bill and sneakily pay for the next customer's order. Kindness is contagious.
  9. Walk more. Good for the environment and good for your health. 
  10. Go to bed earlier. If you're not like us and haven't set yourself a sharp 10pm bedtime, try going to bed one hour earlier than you usually would. You can reap in the benefits of this on so many levels from increased concentration to even having a better immune system! Getting enough sleep may even stop you being a little bit cranky towards others...Win-Win!
