How to spend your Bank Holiday Weekend! Plus, we've got an end of the week treat for you!
Let the sun shine, let the sun shine baby! This frickin’ good weather better never stop because Sun of a Beach it's warm.
If you are one of the lucky people who have this week off, then jealousy is definitely an understatement to how I’m feeling rn!
I’ve just got to say that wearing black jeans to work was a BIG mistake. The sun is shining, the windows are open and I’m welcoming in some much needed fresh air! Tomorrow is definitely going to be a ‘loose dress’ sort of day.
Admiring the sun shine from my desk isn’t exactly how I want to be spending my day, I even went as far as asking the director if we could take our computers down to the beach. But surprisingly… no luck.
The only thing I can do now is pray for good weather this weekend because…. IT’S A 3 DAY WEEKEND BABY!
I feel a sun dance coming on people.
Here’s some of the things which I plan to do this weekend!
I’m going to sit in the garden with a glass of wine and a good book.
Nothing beats a cold glass of white wine, the sun shining on your face and losing yourself in a book. Not a care in the world, unless you are seriously invested in a character. And let’s all be honest, Christian Grey is a man we’ve all invested our emotions in to.

Perhaps I’ll go for a stroll? I always love walking down the beach, but if it’s crowded then it’s like the hustle and bustle, and just overwhelming. I like my personal space. Taking a stroll somewhere quiet(ish) where you can admire your surroundings and just clear your mind – those are the best types of walks. If you go down to the woods, you’re sure of a big surprise! If you are feeling productive (something which happens to me once in a blue moon) then sorting out your garden!
Planting some flowers, cutting the grass… just think about the amount of jobs you could get done and the satisfaction of completing it all.
If I end up doing this, then the only thing I’ll really look forward to is the long soak in the bath afterwards.
I’ll grab either Garden Party Bath Blaster *as seen in the picture* or my absolute FAV... Pool Party Bath Blaster. I'll be lying in the bath, full of contentment, as I watch the water turn blue and the little duck doing a lap of the tub.
If you want to do something active and to cool off, then I’d recommend the New Forest Water Park! Have you ever watched Total Wipe out? Yeah. Well, it’s that! It’s perfect if you want a few hours out with your friends, entertaining your other half or keeping your kids occupied!
If the weather isn’t as good as hoped… then I'll put on a film, grab my fluffy cat and light my favourite candle - Loco Coco Piped Candle - because who needs the weather to be nice when you can just bring the sunshine inside!
