Hey Bomb Babes! It’s Kate, from <a href="https://www.instagram.com/kxtesteele/?hl=en">@kxtesteele</a> on Instagram, and today I thought I’d take you behind the scenes of the Insta feed and show you how I’m planning on spending the Easter Bank holiday. As much as I love Instagram and social media in general, I’m a big believer that sometimes taking a bit of time away from the gram and giving yourself some time to live in the moment and enjoy the simple pleasures in life is one of the best ways to de-stress. The Easter Bank Holiday is a perfect excuse to do just that! A 4 day working week followed by 4 days off fills me with all kinds of joy and thoughts of “Why can’t we have 4 days off every week?” come to mind. Although I have a ‘treat yo’self’ mentality the majority of the time, the upcoming Bank Holiday is the perfect time to unwind, relax and take things back to basics. So, without further ado, this is how I (and my inner Grandma) plan on spending the 4-day weekend. <h3 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #ff65ad;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Go for Brunch</span></strong></span></h3> <p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter wp-image-6354" src="https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Brunch.jpg" alt="" width="380" height="363" /> Brunch is definitely up there with one of my favourite pastimes. Good food, good company and (fingers crossed) good weather is guaranteed to put you in a good mood for the rest of the weekend. If a delicious breakfast full of buttery toast, crispy bacon and a pot of tea doesn’t make you feel all warm and content then I don’t know what will.</p> <h3 style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #ff65ad;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Wander around town</span></strong></span></h3> <p style="text-align: center;"><img class="aligncenter wp-image-6350" src="https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Wander-around-town-800x1000.jpg" alt="" width="380" height="475" /> I enjoy the simply pleasures in life, and having a mooch around town is definitely one of them. “What are you going into town for?” “Just to have a mooch” is a common conversation in my house. I just find wandering around in the sunshine with no plans and nowhere to be so relaxing after a busy week of work and deadlines. Whether it’s just grabbing a coffee and going for a walk in the park, buying some fresh flowers to brighten up the house or going for an evening stroll to watch the sunset; A bit of time outside can do the world of good for both your mind and your body.</p> <h3 style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline; color: #ff65ad;"><strong>Have a bath and pamper evening</strong></span></h3> <p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/bath-blasters/watercolours/tropic-of-conversation-watercolours-250g"><img class="aligncenter wp-image-6353" src="https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/pamper-evening-800x1067.jpeg" alt="" width="380" height="508" /></a> A pamper evening you say? Let me just dig out my collection of <a href="https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/bath-blasters/blasters">bath bombs</a>, face masks, <a href="https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/home-fragrance/candles">candles</a> and <a href="https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/skin-care/body-butters">body butters</a> and I’ll be right there. Literally, I think I could open the next branch of Boots with the amount of cosmetics I own, but that just makes pamper evenings all the more exciting. Is there anything better than getting your comfy clothes on after a bath and snuggling up for the rest of the night on the sofa? I think not. A cheesy film, chocolate, popcorn and some candles probably makes me happier than it should (the <a href="https://bombcosmetics.co.uk/daisyland-piped-glass-candle">Daisyland piped candle</a> is my personal fave at the moment. The room is literally filled with glorious fruity, floral scents within minutes of lighting it!). But hey, we all have our guilty pleasures, right?
