Do you know what a Bath Melt is?

Do you know what a Bath Melt is?

Do you know what a Bath Melt is?

"Your products are all gorg but I’m a little confused on how I should use a bath melt! Does it fizz? Does it release colour? What does it do!!”

Its ok, we’re here to help!

Think of us as proud parents, sending our children (a.k.a products) off to school and waiting for a report card / parents evening. So you can imagine how we feel as a brand, when a customer says their product didn't perform properly *heart sinks*. But it turns out they were using it incorrectly and in fact the product worked how it should have.

Now that's not your fault! If you didn't know, you didn't know. We want to help clarify how our Bath Melts work so you can get the best use out of it as possible. Plus, we're proud parents and have got to defend our children!

There are just some occasions in life where you wish someone had told you sooner or there was a blog post giving you all the info... *OH HEY!*So, I ask you Bomb Babes...do you know what a Bath Melt is?

Let's get down to it!

Our Bath Melts are made of Cocoa and Shea Butter! Unlike our Bath Blasters, these will fizz softly around your tub whilst slowly and luxuriously melting (they can take up to 15 minutes to melt completely!). They will release the butters and pure essential oils into your bath and onto your skin, perfect if your skin needs some nourishment!

They are definitely less about the fizz and colour, and more about the creamy moisturising goodness they create!

We have 3 types of Bath Melts and they all do the same thing! The only difference: they come in all shapes and sizes.

Mallows: The size of a Mallow can vary as all of our products are handmade and we go a lil crazy from time to time with the piping! But they are 50mm approximately.

Creamers: These are smaller and round - they are about the size of a golf ball!

Buttercups: Yup, you guessed it! These basically look like little cupcakes!

P.S. Bath Melts are NOT edible!

A bit more about those ingredients

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is an active ingredient in many skin care products as it remains solid at room temperature but melts at higher temps. We use this as piping on top of some of our Bath Blasters and we also use it to make our Bath Melts, as it makes an excellent skin moisturiser!

It’s a great source of natural antioxidants that are found in cocoa beans, saturated fats are beneficial for healing dry skin because they’re easily absorbed and remain on the skin for hours.

Shea Butter

We use Shea Butter in our products for its moisturising effects as it restores the barrier between your skin and the outside environment, locking in moisture and deeply nourishing your skin. With a significant levels of vitamins A and E, meaning it promotes strong antioxidant activity.

Vitamins A and E help maintain the skin and keep it clear and healthy. They help prevent premature wrinkles and lines. Vitamin F acts as a skin protector and rejuvenator.

It's not about the size but the quality!

Our Mallows & Creamers are a lot smaller than our Bath Blasters, but this doesn’t affect their moisturising abilities!

So there you have it! You're all clued up on your Bath Melts!

Make sure you share your Bath Melt knowledge! If you know someone who might not be aware of the differences and making a big mistake, then correct them! Or point them in the direction of this blog!  Bomb Babes to the rescue!
